The total price of the drug found is 5 million pesos. The individuals, in order to put pressure on the commercialization, used clothes exclusively used by the Military Forces, posing as a group outlaw.
Thanks to military intelligence work, soldiers from Infantry Battalion No.16 Patriotas, of the Sixth Brigade of the National Army and National Police, arrested two individuals in flagrante delicto, who used military garments and pretended to be members of a group outlaw to sell marijuana, coca base and cocaine hydrochloride, in the municipality of Mariquita.
Apparently the two men, to generate anxiety among their victims, used the uniforms to intimidate those who did not buy the narcotics in the neighborhoods and near schools of the urban area of the municipality, where they simulated to be groups outlaw, in order to increase their illicit income more easily.
In this arrest it was possible to find 4,500 grams of marijuana, 130 grams of coca base, 70 grams of cocaine hydrochloride and 570,000 pesos in cash.
The men were put into custody of the authority for the crimes of trafficking, manufacturing and carrying narcotics, and for use of exclusive Military Force garments.
We continue to impact this crime that hits the inhabitants of Tolima, especially young people and minors. Civilians are urged to report any illicit activity to the troops of the Sixth Brigade of the National Army.
