In an interinstitutional work, the Joint Task Force 'Omega', the Land Operations Battalion No.4, the Colombia Solidarity Team Foundation and the Municipal Mayor's Office, benefited 2,349 people, in a Development Support Activity in the urban area of Puerto Rico, in the department of Meta.
The inhabitants could enjoy assistance in general medicine, psychology, pediatrics, nutrition, gynecology, phonoaudiology, dentistry, physiotherapy, acupuncture, respiratory therapy and stylists. In the same way, the little ones shared time with the soldiers during two days with games, fun and much recreation.
"I am very grateful to the doctors who accompanied us today, I am where they do the physiotherapy massages and I came out spectacular. Thanks a lot to the units that are supporting this work", these were some of the words of Mrs. Zoraida Ballesteros, an inhabitant of the municipality of Puerto Rico.
With this activity, the families of this municipality had at their fingertips appointments with specialists that are normally difficult to access and totally for free, all in order to continue working on the progress and wellbeing of the inhabitants of this area of the country.
In this way, the Joint Task Force 'Omega' reaffirms its commitment to the south-eastern community of the country, and thanks the institutions that linked to the Activity.
