Arauca. The Development Support Activity led by the Quir贸n Task Force and the Colombian Air Force was carried out successfully in the department of Arauca and benefited more than 1,500 people in the capital municipality.
They were eight continuous hours where children, young people, seniors and community received assistance in general medicine, internal medicine, gynecology, pediatrics, dentistry, physiotherapy, urology, speech therapy, occupational therapy, social work, vaccination and pharmacy for free. The activity was supported by 24 specialists. In addition there were cultural events, recreation, the distribution of 2,500 presents, school kits, and materials for health, food and snacks.
This event was carried out in the framework of the Horus campaign plan, thanks to the cooperation of the National Navy, National Police, Governaci贸n of Arauca and Alcald铆a de Arauca, Municipal Personer铆a, Firemen, Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Colombian Red Cross, Special Administrative Unit of Health and community leaders, which in an coordinated way could positively impact a greater number of beneficiaries.
In this way, the Eighteenth Brigade through its Battalion of Support and Services for Combat No. 18 "St. Rafael Aragona ", not only called the inhabitants of neighborhoods such as Villa Isabel, Brisas del Llano, Flor de mi Llano, Rompellanos and surrounding areas of commune 5, but in the same way indigenous and migrant communities.
