A great party took place for about 140 children and young people, in Bucaramanga, during the VIII Sports, Recreational and Cultural Olympics games. This activity was carried out by the Fifth Brigade of the National Army, attached to the Second Division.
The participants, with diverse disabilities, are children of military and civilians, linked to the Military Forces who demonstrated their skills in the different competitions of jumping with obstacles, relay race, dance, painting, among other activities that adults and children enjoyed from beginning to end.
The objective of this activity is to integrate families around the discovery and strengthening of the capacities of this group of participants, who demonstrated that limitations are only in the mind and also that they will always be winners.
The Olympics are the fruit of the effort of each of the participants, who throughout the year are prepared, in each of the linked foundations, through therapies and training that help them overcome their fears and limitations, which becomes a great contribution for the physical and mental development of each of them.
