In an inter-institutional work conducted by the public and private sector for the benefit of the most vulnerable communities in the Colombian Caribbean, a Development Support Activity was carried out in the village Arroyo de Piedra, in Cartagena - Bol铆var.
More than 2,800 people were benefited with different services of the State and private services, thanks to the union of efforts of the Colombian Navy, the Mayor's Office of Cartagena, the Governorate of Bol铆var, the Maritza Beauty Academy, Abrazos del Alma Foundation, Cardioclinic Foundation, Super Giros Foundation, Unidos Foundation, ISA Coastal Route, the Professional Officers of the Cartagena Reserve, the University of Cartagena and the Municipal Units of Agricultural Technical Assistance - UMATA.
Medical assistance specialized in speech therapy, gynecology, mammography, internal medicine, nutrition, dentistry, optometry, pediatrics and psychology, as well as Bienestarina (food supplement) and recreational activities for children, were provided to promote the comprehensive development, self-care and well-being of these communities.
