The alleged extortionist was in a shopping center in the capital city of Meta.
Under the guidelines of the Ayacucho Plan, Colombian National Army continues to combat crimes that disturb security and tranquility in the region. In one of these operations, troops of the Meta Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) arrest in flagrante delicto a man for the alleged crime of extortion through the modality of sexting.
The judicial procedure took place in a shopping center in Villavicencio, when the victim, a man, was about to give the alleged extortionist money demanded in exchange of not publishing intimate photos saved on his cell phone.
The mobile, according to the complainant, had been stolen by this person, who is close to him. In coordination with the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI), the military units planned the arrest operation after receiving the alert through the Military Gaula line 147.
