Bogotá. With the aim of generating spaces for reflection and propose innovative ways of responding to the challenges posed by defense and security administration and the new dynamics of Transnational Organized Crime, the Regional Center for Strategic Studies in Security CREES of the Superior War College In coordination with the Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies (CHDS) William J. Perry of the National Defense University of the United States, this week the International conference will be held with the participation of distinguished speakers.
During two days, Strategy and defense policy issues will be studied such as the New mission areas and the role of the Public Force; Governance Needs in Conflict Regions; Contribution of the Military Forces to the Unified operation of the State for stabilization and peace; Adaptability of the Military Forces to the new challenges of Defense Governance; Development of Transnational Organized Crime; Threats of Organized Transnational Crime and Cybersecurity: Policy and strategy; among others, which will be discussed in conferences and round tables of experts.
This seminar counts on the presence of representatives from Colombia, the United States and Spain who will speak to the students of the courses of Military and General Staff Studies, as well as to the students of the Master's programs of the Superior War College, Researchers and Teachers in Security and defense issues of Universities and National Centers, who were invited to the academic event.
