In the 44 villages prioritized in the "Horus Plan" of the National Army, the Multi Mission Heroes fulfill the duty of ensuring the conditions of the civilian population in several aspects.
Santander. The Horus Soldiers of the Fifth Brigade, assigned to the Second Division, are not only Multi-Mission Heroes trained to watch for the safety of the population in the villages of the municipalities hit by half a century of armed conflict, but also they are men devoted to contribute to a better future for this community victim of violence.
In this sense, 44 districts of the municipalities of San Pablo, Santa Rosa and Simití, south of the department of Bolívar, have more than 300 soldiers of the Jungle Battalion No. 48 and the Battalion "Nueva Granada", that guarantee peace and contribute to a better environment by talks of approaching families, knowing their needs closely, implementing "Good Neighbor" practices, "Know Your Country" activities, prevention measures to prevent being victims of crimes such as extortion and kidnapping and improving spaces of common use such as schools, parks or cemeteries, in which people feel they have not been forgotten by the State institutions.
The development of the "Plan Horus", framed in the "Victoria” Plan of Stabilization and Consolidation, helps to restore trust between the civilian population and the National Army as guarantor of Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law.
