Chocó and Valle del Cauca. Units of the National Navy in development of maritime and fluvial control operations, find 2,038 pieces of wood that amounted to 810 cubic meters of wood, transported illegally in the departments of Chocó and Valle del Cauca.
The first finding was carried out in the general area of Docordó, municipality of Litoral San Juan, in Chocó, where 1,300 wooden blocks of the types Sajo, Sandé and Otobo troops found, secured with guayas afloat of the river. The pieces measured up to four meters long and 40 centimeters in circumference; for a total of 520 cubic meters of wood.

Subsequently, units of the Pacific Naval Force detected in the general area of Chucheros, conducted by Bahía Málaga and Buenaventura, a ship that transported 738 pieces of wood of the Sajo type, equivalent to 290 cubic meters of wood.
Military personnel determine during the inspection that the ship transported a greater quantity of wood than the one reported in the mobilization safe-conduct. The wood transported to the municipality of Buenaventura was placed at the put into custody of of the Regional Autonomous Corporation of Valle del Cauca. There were no capturees in the operation.
