Antioquia. In recent hours, the National Navy conducted an operation of inspection and control in the sea in the waters of the Gulf of Urabá, which resulted in the discovery of a shipment of contraband with a commercial cost of approximately 173 million pesos, about US$70000.
The operation was carried out in the area of the municipality of Turbo, Department of Antioquia, where the inspection of the motorboat "La Manuela" was carried out, finding in its interior a shipment of contraband liquor.
The merchandise troops found consisted of 1008 bottles of Whiskey and 144 bottles of Tequila; it means 1,152 bottles of contraband liquor.
The elements were put into custody of the National Direction of Taxes and Customs (DIAN) of Turbo.
