The Eighteenth Brigade continues to bring wellbeing to the most vulnerable population with the support of different public and private institutions.
In the frame of the 'Horus Plan', the Quiron Task Force successfully carried out the last July 13, a Development Support Day in the department of Arauca, achieving a comprehensive benefit to the population of the village of La Pesquera of the municipality of Arauquita.
At the event, 165 people were treated for general medicine, 89 for dentistry, 63 received vaccinations, 47 cytologies were carried out, 71 consultations on growth and development were carried out, 33 psychology consultations were provided as well as more than 60 hairdressing services, for a total of 528 services provided to children, youth, adults and seniors.
In the same way, during the activity there was room for integration through a community lunch which counted on the presence of presidents of community action boards and recreation, as well as the distributions of refreshments and presents including sports items, school elements and puzzles whose purpose is to invite the children and adolescents to the use their free time to prevent illicit recruitment and prevent school dropouts. With these activities, 1060 inhabitants of the sector benefited.
This activity of comprehensive action counted on the participation of the BAAID N ° 8, the National Navy, Colombia Renace, municipal administration, Chamber of Commerce, SENA (national learning service ), Victims Unit, Land Restitution, Social Prosperity, ICBF (Colombian institute of family wellbeing), Comparta, Nueva EPS, Salud Vida and the Ministry of Culture, which shows that teamwork has a positive impact on the most vulnerable populations of the department of Arauca and strengthens the bonds of partnership with the communities.
