One of the most awaited maritime events of the Colombians, the Sail Cartagena de Indias 2018, arrived in the heroic city, as part of the regatta "Velas Latinoamérica".
In the morning of this Saturday, Cartagena received several boats such as the "Esmeralda" from Chile; "Libertad", from Argentina; "Union" from Peru; "Sagres", from Portugal; "Simón Bolívar", from Venezuela; the "Cisne Branco", from Brazil; the Hamilton, of the United States; the Lempira, from Honduras and our host the ARC "Gloria", from Colombia, who will be in the city until next Thursday July 26, the final day of the event.
Citizens can visit the ships at the following times: Sunday 22, Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 from 10:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m, on Wednesday 25 from 08:00 a.m to 12:00 noon. In the same way, Cartagena and tourists will appreciate tomorrow Sunday at 5:00 p.m., a parade in which all the crews of the participant sailboats of the Sail will participate. This tour will depart the Plaza de la Aduana and will travel by the main streets of the walled center.
The Sail Cartagena de Indias - 2018, is a new opportunity to promote Cartagena as a unique tourist and nautical destination in America and the Caribbean. In the last four years, Procolombia, through Marca País, has exhibited aboard the Ship ARC "Gloria" the gastronomic, natural and cultural richness of Colombia to promote it as a tourist destination, highlighting the biodiversity, wealth and flavors of Colombia.
