Norte de Santander. This year 45 structures of drug trafficking have been neutralized by the Thirtieth Brigade of the National Army.
A structure that was used for illicit activities of drug trafficking was discovered by troops of the Thirtieth Brigade of the National Army, in the framework of the Military and Police Operation 'Eparta', in Norte de Santander.
The soldiers of the Mechanized Cavalry Group No. 5 'General Hermógenes Maza', in their search and military control operations on the village El Porvenir, municipality of Sardinata, found the laboratory where precursors and machinery were found.
Troops found Solid precursors used in the process of obtaining coca base paste, such as 120 kilograms of gray cement, as well as, liquid precursors such as 250 gallons of gasoline and also 50 kilograms of shredded coca leaf and barrels and metal presses.
To date, 45 laboratories have been neutralized. 10,739 kilograms of solid precursors and 15,981 gallons in liquid precursors have been found by troops of the Thirtieth Brigade in inter-agency operations carried out with the Attorney General's Office.
