During a night mission, the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter and medical personnel of the Casanare Air Group, GACAS, took off to carry out the aeromedical transfer of an indigenous woman, 24 years old, who was in complications in her pregnancy, generating anemia and risk of losing life.
During the flight, the patient was provided with first aid, oxygen and medication. This evacuation was carried out from La Primavera, department of Vichada, to the Regional Hospital of the Orinoquía, in Yopal, department of Casanare.
The request was made by the GACAS in coordination with the National Center for Personnel Recovery, CNRP in Spanish, at the request of the Health Promoting Institution, EPS, of the patient.
