Soldiers of the Infantry Battalion No. 17 'General José Domingo Caicedo' and the Support Battalion of Comprehensive Action No. 5, are articulated with public and private institutions to bring well-being and recreation to the inhabitants of the municipality of San Antonio, in the department of Tolima, next November 24.
Thanks to the soldiers of the Operational Command Zeus of the Sixth Brigade and the Comprehensive Action Support Command of the National Army, a Development Support Activity will be carried out for the inhabitants of the San José village of the municipality of San Antonio, department of Tolima, in the facilities of the school San José de Tetúan, in coordination with the City Hall of the municipality, the Manos Pintadas de Azul Foundation and the program Fe in Colombia.
During the activity, it is expected to provide services of general medicine, gynecology, dentistry, nutrition, pediatrics, vaccination, health promotion, physiotherapy, among others. On the other hand, boys and girls will in the same way enjoy recreational, and cultural activities such as: face painting, balloon twisting, jumping, dance contests, painting workshops, among others.
"I extend a warm invitation to the people of Tolima to participate in the services that will be given for the benefit of their health, in order to show through this Development Support Activity the capacities of our mayor's office, the Fe program in Colombia and the National Army, projected to bring wellbeing and progress," said the mayor of San Antonio, José Dayler Lasso.
