More than 180 people benefited of the reforestation activity carried out by the Horus Soldiers in the village El Progreso, in San José del Guaviare.
Guaviare. In the frame of the environmental guidelines of preserving the ecosystem and contributing to the care of the environment, the Horus Soldiers of the Infantry Battalion No. 19 General "José Joaquín París" of the Twenty-Second Jungle Brigade together with the Battalion of Comprehensive Action and Development N ° 4 of the Support Command for Comprehensive Action and Development in coordination with the Communitarian action Board of the sector, planted 50 trees of native species in the village El Progreso, rural area of the municipality of San José del Guaviare.
"This operation is carried out with the objective of encouraging the inhabitants to take care of the environment and teaching them about the importance of conserving our Colombian Amazonas," said Lieutenant Omar Esteban Díaz Hernández.
