In the event, public visited 315 production units from 13 municipalities of the department.
The Sixth Division of the National Army through the Twenty Seventh Jungle Brigade with the articulation promoted by the program Faith in Colombia - Pasión Putumayo, led the First Institutional Encounter of Community Entrepreneurs in Puerto Asís, in the department of Caquetá.
The event presented 315 productive units in 13 municipalities of this department of the south of the country, 114 appointments took place in which seven high volume purchases of agricultural products were carried out, including pepper, yucca, coffee as well as sacha inchi; in the same way 51 future alliances in communities that are replacing plantations of illicit use were agreed.
This activity, in addition to improve profits by shortening the commercial chain, presented projects to the binational chambers Colombo-Czech, France, India, Panama, Peru, APG International Canada and companies such as Arcanas Trading, Agraria Center de Corabastos, Café Rancho SAS, APG International Canada, Bodegón de Cota and Nasbo Group.
The Institutional Encounter of Community Entrepreneurs is an effort that takes place within the framework of the Unified operation of the State with other institutions settled in the territory to promote the construction of the social fabric. In this case, the articulation with the Mayor's Office of Puerto Asís, the National Apprenticeship Service (SENA), the Putumayo Chamber of Commerce, the Departmental Secretary of Agriculture and the National Police was a key factor to achieve success in this activity.
