Units of the National Navy in coordination with the Police, in an operation against the drug trafficking structures that intend to extend their criminal operations in Cartagena, in the department of Bolívar, find 15 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride.
During the inspection of the motorboat 'Doña Luz', a cargo ship that was anchored in the Bay of Cartagena, a cache was found tied to the rudder blade, with what appeared to be narcotic substances.
When conducting the Preliminary Test to the 35 blocks, 15 of them left positive result for cocaine hydrochloride; the remaining 20 blocks gave negative results for any type of hallucinogenic substance.
With this finding there is evidence of a new form of fraud among drug trafficking organizations, who intend to steal the drug, replacing it with similar blocks made of resin, plaster or other materials.
