Huila. In the Puente Valencia sector of the village El Patico, in the municipality of La Plata, troops of the Infantry Battalion No. 26 'Cacique Pigoanza' of the Ninth Brigade with the support of units of the department of Huila, hit a new blow to the drug trade and damage the business of criminal groups that perpetrate this crime.
The young man, 17, being used for the punishable operation, apparently by the Organized Crime Group Los Caqueteños, was apprehended after the voluntary search. Troops found in his possession 26 kilos of Marijuana and one kilogram with 150 grams of coca base paste that was transported in the motorcycle Honda CT 100 plate KNL 65C.
The young man carried the illicit substance in a box tied with a tire strip on the back of the motorcycle; the narcotic drug was distributed in seven lined packages, each one with black plastic bags.
According to the research work, the narcotics, with a cost in the illicit market of approximately 23 million pesos, was handed to the minor in the sector of Guadalejo, department of Cauca and its destination would be the municipality of Garzón in the center in the department of Huila.
The Childhood and Adolescence Authority was immediately informed and it received the child with the narcotic and the motorcycle.
The authorities are concerned about the use of minors for the execution of this type of crime; operation with which the delinquents are destroying the rights of children and adolescents, in their attempt to pass through highways of the department of Huilenses with important loads of narcotics.
