Caquetá. In recent hours, the Military Forces saved the life of a man in serious state of health in the municipality of Peñas Coloradas, in Caquetá, who was attacked by a wild animal and needed to be treated at a higher level medical center in the city of Florencia
The thirty-year-old man suffered severe bites and had severe pain in his left arm, which required specialized medical assistance to prevent a possible infection. He traveled to the military base of the municipality where he was received by troops of the National Navy and later assisted by the combat nurses of the Joint Task Force Omega.
After providing first aid and verifying the severity of the injuries, coordination was initiated with the National Center for Personnel Recovery, CNRP, for its transfer to the capital of Caqueta, for which the Air Combat Command No. 6, CACOM 6, arranged the Huey II helicopter of the Tres Esquinas Air Base to Peñas Coloradas to evacuate this person.
