Three planes were immobilized in a coordinated operation conducted by the Colombian Air Force and the National Police at La Vanguardia airport, in Villavicencio and the Fabio León Bentley, in Mitú.
With crews and aircraft of the Air Combat Command No. 2 and in coordination with the Civil Aviation Control Police, control operations were carried out on the aeronautical infrastructure of two air terminals belonging to the departments of Meta and Vaupés.
During the mission, 137 aircraft, 32 companies and 21 hangars were inspected, which after reviewing the documents left three aircraft immobilized by the National Police under resolution 024 of 2006 of the National Council of Narcotic Drugs.
Thus, the Colombian Air Force will continue to work in a coordinated manner, exercising control and vigilance over the entire territory to guarantee both security and compliance with the purposes of the State. Thus one goes to the stars!
