The Vulcano Task Force, in coordination with the Samaritan's Purse organization and the International Capellanía Community, carried out health, wellbeing and recreation services, benefiting 500 people.
The activity was led by the soldiers of the Engineers Battalion No. 30 'Coronel José Salazar Arana', with the support of Aviación del Ejército Nacional, who transferred the personnel from the city of Cúcuta to the municipality of Tibú.
The Horus Soldiers of the Comprehensive Action and Development Battalion No. 2, were in charge of providing a space of joy and smiles to all the inhabitants with presentations of clowns and puppets, leading attendees to enjoy a different moment of leisure and well-being in family, gathered at the municipal sports center.
The organization Samaritan's Purse accompanies the National Army, in the activity, as part of the approach that is maintained with the community of Tibuya. During the meeting they distributed food supplies in basic baskets that were received with joy by the beneficiaries.
For its part, the International Capellanía Community, joined this activity providing medical care with its health professionals and later with distribution of medicines at no cost.
