The National Army, through its Military Engineers, began the construction of six kilometers of embankment that will benefit 4,000 inhabitants in Murindó.
Machinery of yellow line of the Engineers Battalion Carlos Bejarano Muñoz, a Unit attached to the Brigade 17 arrived at the municipality with the purpose of initiating what will be the construction of the embankment in order to prepare a new site of relocation.
This important work done by the Military Engineers, will benefit the inhabitants who were hit by the constant flooding of this area, especially in the rainy season.
For his part, the commander of the battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Fredy Alexander Ospina Gómez, said: "These works will lead the consolidation work to begin in the municipality, bringing progress in economic, educational and social issues of the inhabitants of the area. Comprehensive Action operation that will in the same way reach the area from the hands of the men of the Purple ensign".
