Boyacá. In the framework of the Great Fair that took place today, the Rural Development Agency -ADR- and the Support Command of Comprehensive Action and Development of the National Army - CAAID- announced the intention agreement 'Building Rural Development'.
The agreement consists of implementing programs of regional and national impact, ADR and CAAID will support the most remote and vulnerable rural communities of the country to improve their quality of life and obtain more profits, through productive projects in their regions. Associations of producers will lead these new ventures, co-financed and assisted by the Agency.
"This agreement reflects the purpose of bringing more development to the communities in the rural territories, this effort aims to provide assistance to families as part of the operations of transformation of the country lands, carried out by the Government of the president Iván Duque." said Claudia Ortiz, president of the ADR.
“My Model Hamlet” and the “Meetings of Community Entrepreneurs” are part of the Army's 'Faith in Colombia' program, seeking the articulation of State institutions, with the support of private companies and international cooperation.
In turn, the Brigadier General, Jorge Horacio Romero, said that reaching the most remote areas with progress, legality and entrepreneurship is a priority in this joint effort.
"The National Army accompanies these projects and that is why we seal these agreements that will turn rural dreams into national realities," he added.
The signing took place during the closing of the 'Building Rural Development' fair.
