In compliance with the Bicentennial Plan, the Colombian Navy achieved the discovery and destruction of two coca base paste laboratories of the First Structure Residual Organized Armed Group, in the departments of Guaviare and Meta.
The first military operation took place in the area known as El Bocante, municipality of Mapiripán, in the department of Meta, where units of the Marine Infantry Battalion No. 50 with support of the National Army, found a structure made of wood and found inside 45 gallons of liquid precursors and 12 kilograms of solid precursors, used for the production of cocaine.
In the second and effective operation, conducted in the hamlet "Aracuato", of San José del Guaviare, the troops found a laboratory with 77 gallons of liquid precursors including fuels and ammonia and 101 kilograms of solid precursors, including ammonium, lime, caustic soda and potassium permanganate along with 339 kilograms of coca leaf.
