In the framework of the community integration activities carried out by the Navy of Colombia, where different strategies are carried out to support vulnerable communities at a regional level and in coordination with the "Fundación con Toda el Alma", 350 kits were distributed to the children of the indigenous community of Isla Gallinazo in Coveñas, in the department of Sucre.
The distribution of the kits was led by the Commander of the Marine Infantry Training Base and the director of the "Foundation With All Soul." The distribution was very well received by the community, who thanked the support received of the Navy and the Foundation.
This activity gave support to the community so that children have more facilities to access studies to continue their learning stage being far from being easy targets for outlaw groups, supporting Public Education institutions, where they begin their education.
