This individual who is charged with the crime of conspiracy to commit an aggravated crime, would have been part of the extinct AUC Bloque Noroccidente. He demobilized, in 2005, but given his criminal capacity to plan and execute terrorist operations against the civilian population and the Security forces, he restarted committing crimes
In the same way, alias Cocoa was wanted an Interpol blue notice for the crimes of organization, association of criminal group, drugs, injuries resulting in death, homicide and carrying of firearms and explosives.
One of his many terrorist operations in the country was the attack on a police patrol in Cañasgordas on April 2, 2016, the coordination of a criminal act in the municipality of Giraldo, on August 8, 2017, against two members of the same police institution where one of them died. In the same way, several attacks against the infrastructure and managers of the mining company Continental Gold.
With this result, the criminal, financial and strategic structure of this organized armed group is directly hit.
Finally, the capture was possible through the Civic Participation Network and through the intelligence work of the military institution. The objective is, through territorial control operations, to continue to counteract the crimes that attack on the safety and wellbeing of the inhabitants of Antioquia.
