In fluvial control and inspection operations, carried out by troops of the Navy of Colombia and in joint operation with troops of the National Army, it was possible to find 182.56 cubic meters of wood in the department of Putumayo.
The operation was carried out in La Tagua sector, municipality of Puerto Leguízamo, in the department of Putumayo, when the courier boat "El Progreso" was intercepted. Inside the wood was transported by a crew member, who upon requesting the required documentation, he did not present the documents for the movement of this material issued by the Corporation for the Sustainable Development of the South of the Amazon-Corpoamazonia. The material was put into custody of to the aforementioned Institution. No arrests were made during the process.
