In military operations for territorial control of the area, the Omega Joint Task Force captured five individuals who were indiscriminately felling trees in different areas of National Natural Parks.
In the first operation, it was possible to capture three individuals that hit the environment through indiscriminate felling in the Tinigua National Natural Park in southeastern Colombia.
In the second operation, in the Serrania de La Macarena, the capture of two people who had deforested more than 40,000 square meters of forest was carried out.
Finally, in the rural areas of the departments of Caquetá and Meta, more than 62 cubic meters of wood of different types that were transported illegally have been confiscated.
