Through a work hand in hand with the institutions, the National Army with its Infantry Battalion No. 1 and the program Fe en Colombia, continues to make visits to review and control the support given to cocoa producers in the municipality of Tibú in the department of Norte de Santander.
These visits were carried out by professionals of the program Fe en Colombia to provide producers with technical advice on product standardization, elaboration of Invima registry forms, corporate image design and advertising for cocoa products such as table chocolate and chocolates.
"At this moment Fe in Colombia is engaged with us in the issue of advertising, technical assistance and how to do the procedure for the INVIMA registry forms. In addition, several state institutions support us with the implements and in the certification for good agricultural practices, because we project to get international markets," said Luis Dávila, cocoa producer of the Campo Dos municipality.
In this way, associations of the region carry out different processes from cultivation to transformation into final products such as table chocolate and they project commercialization in international markets.
It is for this reason that the program Fe en Colombia in Unified operation with the State, will give continuity to the technical assistance in different aspects to realize the expectations of the associated cocoa farmers in El Catatumbo.
