In a joint operation conducted by the Colombian Air Force and the National Army and interagency with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Prosecutor's Office it was possible to find and destroy four laboratories used for the production of coca base paste, in the village El Raudal, municipality of Tarazá, in the department of Antioquia
In this operation, Air Combat No. 5 aircraft participated discovering 570 kilos of coca leaf, among other precursors used to process the substance belonging to the company 'Héroes de Tarazá' .
In this way, another blow to the finances of the organized armed group - Gao Eln – is dealt. This is a group which commits crimes in this area of the country. This group results weakened in this operation ratifying the presence of the Military Forces in the Colombian territory.
