Heroes of the Bicentenario, of the First Division, with the support of the Mobility and Maneuver Battalion No.1, of the National Army, take to the Sierra Nevada more than two tons of humanitarian aid that were transported in the Helicopter MI-17 of the Aviation of the Army.
These aid was donated and organized by the Colombian Institute of Family Wellbeing in its program “de Cero a Siempre” (from cero to always), in order to mitigate some basic needs of the indigenous people settled in the Sierra Nevada, who due to the altitude of the land it becomes complex the transportation by land.
With these operations the National Army with the First Division and the Division of Aviation and Air Assault seek to provide support with their capabilities to the civilian population, contributing to the wellbeing and care of the indigenous communities of the country.
