Seven hundred kilos of cocaine hydrochloride with an approximate cost in Colombia of three million dollars, allegedly belonging to the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo, were found by troops in the Colombian Pacific in an operation led by the Colombian Air Force and coordinated with the Judicial Police.
Executing air assault maneuvers, men of the Special Air Command Squadron, ECOEA, arrived at the point aboard UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters, finding 24 bags with narcotics, ready to be sent to Central America and the United States.
This operation was carried out on May 30, 2019 and together with those carried out since last April 23 in the south of Vichada, in Jamundí, Valle, and in Catatumbo, there are more than two tons of coca found since the last week, in joint operations with an important participation of the Colombian Air Force.
