Chocó. The Colombian Navy, in coordination with the Colombian Air Force and in compliance with the Bicentenary Campaign Plan "Almirante Padilla", carried out Development Support Activities in some communities of the Colombian Pacific, and on this occasion, in the municipality of Nuquí, in the department of Chocó, more than 800 inhabitants improved their quality of life.
With airplanes of the Colombian Air Force and maritime units of the Colombian Navy, specialists and participants were taken from Bogotá to the municipality of Nuquí and later to the municipalities of Partado, Termales and Arusí.
The 38 specialists and military provided more than 1,200 services to the indigenous and African Colombian population with General Medicine, Pediatrics, Gynecology, Optometry, recreational activities, recreational activities, nutrition and donation of water filters.
The inhabitants of the municipality of Nuquí, thanked the Colombian Navy and the Colombian Air Force for the one and a half tons of aid received, which contribute to the social development of the region, strengthening the bonds of cooperation with the institutions.
The activity counted on the support and participation of different public companies such as the City Hall of Nuquí, the ANDI Foundation, the SURA Group, the Colombian Family Wellbeing Institute, the Buen Punto Foundation, the Chocó Surf League, Herbalife, Telefonicia, Pavco , Procter, Nutresa, among others.
