In compliance with the Ayacucho Plan, troops of the Joint Task Force Marte, jointly with the Colombian Air Force, National Navy and coordinated with the National Police, arrested in the last few hours two alleged members of the Luis Alfonso Echavarría Substructure, of the organized armed group, GAO, Clan del Golfo, in the municipality of San Pablo, south of Bolívar.
It was possible to find two rifles, a traumatic pistol, four rifle magazines, more than 160 cartridges of different calibers, communication radios, cell phones and military accessories for the exclusive use of the Military Forces. The material was being used by this group for its criminal activities in the region.
The arrested and the material were put into custody of the authorities.
