In its mission to safeguard the good physical condition of the inhabitants of the Archipelago, the Caribbean Air Group of the Colombian Air Force, made the transfer to San Andrés of an elderly adult, who resides on the Island of Providencia, in an ambulance aircraft Caravan C208-B.
After the call of the National Personnel Recovery Center-CNRP, military personnel arrived on the Island of Providencia to conduct the transfer of a 65-year-old man, who required management by specialists at the Clarence Lynd Newball Memorial Department Hospital, due to his pulmonary and cardiac complications.
The crew members, upon arrival at the El Embrujo airport in Providencia, showed that the patient was in unfavorable conditions to make the flight, so the military doctors conducted the stabilization of his vital signs with medicines provided by the CNRP, after this, he was transported stable to San Andrés.
