Arauca. In an inter-institutional work, divers of the National Navy and officials of the Arauca Public services Company recovered two electro pumps that had sunk in the Arauca River, after the aqueduct's intake collapse on Saturday, March 31st.
Six divers of the National Navy were in charge of the rescue maneuvers, which culminated after 30 hours of intense work, with the recovery of the two electric pumps that supply water to the more than 100 thousand inhabitants of the municipality of Arauca.
The two structures have a weight of approximately two tons.
