Bolivar. In a surveillance and control operation, units of the Colombian Navy discovered 65 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride on board a tanker named "Arctic Bay", while it was in the anchoring area, in Cartagena, in the department of Bolivar.
This finding was possible during an underwater inspection work carried out by highly trained divers of the Naval Institution, who reported the discovery of three black bags containing 65 rectangular packages to units of the Coast Guard Station of Cartagena.
The cache of alkaloid was taken to the Coast Guard Station, where the judicial authorities conducted the Preliminary Identification Test - PIPH, whose result was positive for 65 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride,; this quantity could cost in the international black market more than two million dollars.
