In military operations, troops of the Joint Task Force Omega found more than ten thousand cartridges of different caliber in an illegal warehouse, apparently belonging to the residual organized armed group, Seventh structure.
In compliance with the Bicentenary Plan in the village Loma Linda, municipality of Vistahermosa, in the department of Meta, the soldiers of the Eastern Specific Command arrived at the place where the ammunition was hidden in a pit of approximately 1 meter long and 60 cm wide with more than a meter deep.
Once the area was secured following the established protocols, the military men proceeded to extract the material that consisted of 4,940 5.56 mm cartridges, 4,889 7.62 mm cartridges and 455 7.65 mm; these elements were hidden inside metal milk churns.
