With the permanent accompaniment of Military and National Police units, land restitution processes in the urban areas of the municipalities of Araquita, Tame, Saravena, Fortul Puerto Rondón and rural area of Cravo Norte, will be carried out.
With the firm purpose of guaranteeing compliance with Law 1448 of 2011 of the Lands Restitution process in the seven municipalities of the department of Arauca, during 2019, the National Army, National Navy, Air Force, and the National Army, Air Force, National Police, Ombudsman, Attorney General and Land Restitution Unit are working together.
It was thus possible to make the first progresses in the urban area of the Arauca’s capital city and the municipality of Cravo Norte, managing to meet 18 and 9 processes. In the same way, by 2020 it is planned to focus the main urban centers of the remaining five municipalities, where there are 228 processes, and the rural area of the municipality of Cravo Norte with the permanent support of the Security forces.
