In recent hours, the Colombian Navy through the Units of the Specific Command of San Andres and Providencia, managed to evacuate a Canadian tourist, who had a convulsive crises that put her life at risk.
The emergency reported by the Tourism Police was attended by the San Andres Coast Guard Station, which, in a timely manner, had a Rapid Reaction Unit that moved to the Rose Cay sector, in Cayo Acuario, with The purpose of moving the 28-year-old girl to the pier "Los Almendros", where she was attended by the Emergency Regulatory Center - CRUE.
During 2019, the Specific Command of San Andrés and Providencia through its tactical Units, managed to evacuate 18 people who suffered some type of problem related to their health.
