The Development Support Activity was carried out at the Vetas Central School, in Norte de Santander, benefiting 1100 inhabitants of all ages.
With the aim of strengthening the Catatumbo region and promoting spaces for healthy recreation, the National Army, in coordination with the mayor of Tibú and the Organization Fuerza Internacional de Capellanía, carried out in the municipality Vetas Central, in the department of Norte de Santander, a Development Support Activity that benefited approximately 1,100 people.
The event was led by the Fe in Colombia program, and had the support of the Builders Engineer Battalion No.50, a military unit attached to the Vulcano Task Force. In the same way, the Academy of Beauty La Francesa, and a team of health professionals, Worked to provide attendees with services in general medicine, psychology and dentistry.
During the activity, the Horus soldiers of the Comprehensive Action and Development Battalion No.2, were in charge of providing children and adults with a fun space with a show of clowns, balloon twisting and puppets.
The Entrepreneurial Woman Workshop was in the same way held there, in the frame of the International Women's Day, an activity that was ideal for the presentation of ideas regarding productive businesses for the Catatumbo region. Finally, at the meeting, presents and food baskets were distributed to families.
