With a coordinated work, the Colombian Air Force through the Air Combat Command No.7, strengthens its capabilities by conducting drills of air interdiction in order to face the decisive fight against drug trafficking phenomena in the southwest of the country.
This strategy is carried out by the Office of the Attorney General of the Nation and the Military Forces, the National and Judicial Police, who from a particular approach, based on their specialty, air, land, water, seek not only to combat and dismantle organized armed groups, but also to implement operations where solid evidentiary elements are found to lead a correct judicial process.
The exercise was carried out at the Marco Fidel Suárez Air Base facilities, where the knowledge and skills of each of the institutions were put into practice, establishing adequate communications, aligned to the protocols and techniques established for handling the drug trafficking crime scene, in this case, an air interdiction.
