Aware of the lack of sanitary implements such as the face mask whose number has diminished worldwide these days, the Battalion of Support and Services for Combat No. 29 of the Twenty-ninth Brigade, began a project to manufacture this essential element that is necessary for the protection of military personnel, who work in the facilities and must fulfill the duties of security on the streets of the White City.
This is how masks are manufactured where camouflaged were made before. Willington Mosquera, tailor of the ASPC 29 Battalion, has been perfecting these days the technique to increase the number of masks, since the goal is to be able to cover the largest number of free distribution among the vulnerable citizens.
The masks are made of excellent quality fabrics to provide the protection you would need against the danger of COVID-19 infection. After the supply of masks inside the military unit, we proceeded to distribute them to the community as required.
Lieutenant Colonel Darío Fernando Pérez says that prevention is the main measure in which work must be done, which is why he has equipped his personnel with masks, so that they can carry out the different activities that the National Army is carrying out these days, whether in security issues or food collection to be distributed to vulnerable families. In addition, he affirms that distributing this sanitary element to people who require it has been of great satisfaction, since lives are being saved, which is the fundamental essence of our glorious National Army.
