Three rudimentary distillers and 500 gallons of stolen gasoline are part of the material found by the troops within these structures.
Troops of the Vulcano Task Force, in the rural areas of the municipalities of Tibú and El Carmen, in Norte de Santander, achieve the discovery of three illegal refineries and two illicit hideouts that would belong to the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Eln, of the front Juan Fernando Porras Martínez and company Francisco Bossio.
The military operation, framed in the plan Heroes de la Libertad, began in the village of El Porvenir, municipality of Tibú, a sector in which men belonging to the Ground Operations Battalion No.9, found three illegal precursor refineries, equipped with three handcrafted distillers, three swimming pools for the storage of stolen petroleum, 12 metal barrels, and 370 meters of two-inch hose.
Parallel to these operations, military personnel of the Ground Operations Battalion No.10, found in the rural area of the Curales and Vega de Motilonia villages, of the municipality El Carmen, two illicit hideouts, where members of the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Eln, company Francisco Bossio, stored 500 gallons of stolen gasoline, 55 of ammonia, and 15 of sulfuric acid. Two long weapons were in the same way found at the scene.
