In the frame of the support that has been provided to hospitals in the southwest of the country, the Colombian Air Force, through the Air Combat Command No.7, CACOM7, donated medicines to the local hospital Santa Cruz de Trujillo, in the department of Valle, in order to cover primary medical needs, as well as patients requiring specialized chronic treatments.
More than a thousand medicines were distributed by the military personnel of CACOM7, to the manager of the care unit, in the presence of the secretary of health of the municipality, who received with satisfaction this help, which will continue to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of the inhabitants of Trujillo.
More than 4,000 medicines have been distributed to clinics and hospitals in different sectors of the Departments of Cauca and Valle del Cauca to solve some difficulties, since the beginning of the contingency because of COVID-19. In the same way elements of biosecurity and personal hygiene to strengthen the campaign of prevention and self-care of Colombians, have been distributed.
