The National Army and the Attorney General Office captured four people who would have belonged to the criminal group known as Los Artesanos de La Pola 2.
Troops of the Miguel Antonio Caro Infantry Battalion No.38, of the Thirteenth Brigade of the National Army, was able to dismantle a criminal group dedicated to drug trafficking, especially aimed at young university students in Bogotá.
Thanks to the investigations carried out by the Attorney Office and the National Army, it was possible to capture four individuals identified as members of this group in the sector of Parque de Los Periodistas, in downtown of the city. In addition, the authorities established that the individuals had links with a group operating in this same sector, so this new group was known as Los Artesanos de La Pola 2, and had as their main distribution target the university students in the area.
Those captured were placed at the custody of the authorities and will face charges for the crime of trafficking, manufacture and carrying of drugs.
