Although multiple restrictions have already been lifted within preventive isolation, some families continue to receive aid of the Colombian Air Force.
The Department of Magdalena has experienced various difficulties during the quarantine period, so the Air Combat Command no.3 arrived with the purpose of supporting the families of Magdalena soldiers who are serving in this unit. This aid came thanks to the support of the officers, Non-Commissioned Officers and civilians of the unit who voluntarily contributed money to be able to distribute this aid to the families of the men in this unit.
For this reason the members of CACOM 3 went to Ciénaga and Santa Marta where 11 families received these aids with a huge smile, accompanied by a great feeling of gratitude, because some have lost their jobs or have not been able to reactivate their economic activity due to the restrictions given to the Prevention of COVID-19.
Many of these inhabitants of Magdalena expect that from the first of September, the daily activities normalize, reactivating the smaller business that will give a boost to the crisis that many have experienced throughout the year. Thanks to the solidarity of the government, the different municipal Mayors, the National Army, the Navy of Colombia, the Colombian Air Force, the National Police, foundations, and private companies, these people have been able to live in the best way.
