Within the framework of the unified operation of the State we are permanently in the most vulnerable communities of Cartagena.
The Colombian Navy, in coordination with the mayor of Cartagena, through the District Administrative Department of Health, DADIS, the Tourism Corporation of Cartagena de Indias, CORPOTURISMO, and the Social Manager María Angelica Klee, the Tierra Grata Foundation and the AGM Huellas de Piedra Foundation distributed 80,000 liters of water, 450 boxes of liquid Bienestarina (food supplement) and 300 food baskets with food of the basic family basket, contributing to a healthy diet of all families of the island of Tierra Bomba, especially children and adolescents.
The Fundación Tierra Grata donated three water filters that will be of great help for the healthy consumption of this vital resource at the Scholl of the island of Tierra Bomba. In the same way, the Foundation AGM Huella de Piedra (Traces of Stone) made the donation of non-perishable food for all the workers and families of the Foundation Arca de Noe, with the purpose of helping it to recover of the theft of food in its facilities, last September 25.
Field visits and review of biosecurity protocols were carried out to seven businesses surrounding the beaches of Island area of Cartagena.
This initiative was possible within the framework of the unified operation of the State, with the inter-institutional commitment of the Colombian Navy to continue contributing to the comprehensive development of the Caribbean region, bringing well-being to the inhabitants of the most vulnerable communities.
