Thanks to the joint work conducted by the National Army, The Mayor's Office of the municipality of Cáceres in Bajo Cauca region in the department of Antioquia and the Isabel La Católica Municipal Hospital, 80 families, victims of forced displacement, in the village La Amargura, received health care this week and enjoyed recreational and sports activities in their municipality, led by the National Army.
The health Brigade provided vaccination, general medicine, and psychological and dental services, benefiting 200 children, adolescents and adults. In addition, hospital staff provided advice on growth and development, sex education, family planning, oral health, and oral hygiene kits for children.
The men of the Support Battalion of Comprehensive Action and development No. 7, their team Fe En Colombia, the Joint Task Force Aquiles and the airborne battalion No. 31, Rifles, organized with all the measures of biosecurity, a sports tournament for men and women who were subsequently awarded with souvenirs, a donation made by the National Army and the City Hall.
The children of the municipality could in the same way enjoy the playful activity and together with the soldiers of the Support Battalion of Comprehensive Action and development No. 7, danced, sang and enjoyed the trampolines and inflatables.
